Who RideCircle is for

RideCircle is for adult parents and approved guardians who already know one another through a school, team, or activity. Children do not create accounts.

Information we use

We use guardian account details such as name, email address, phone number, neighborhood, vehicle information, and emergency contact details. Guardians may add a child's first name, school or club, grade or team, and pickup notes. This information is used to coordinate private carpools and keep trusted adults informed.

Sharing and security

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Group members see only the information needed for an approved carpool. Exact pickup details are limited to the assigned driver when operationally necessary. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is enforced by authenticated server-side rules.

Location and notifications

This version does not collect or share live location, send push notifications, or verify phone numbers by SMS. Trip updates and notices are available inside the app. A saved notice does not prove that another guardian has seen it. Phone sharing is off by default and can be changed in Privacy Settings.

Account and data deletion

You can delete your RideCircle account from Settings in the app. RideCircle removes your profile, memberships, notifications, reports, requests, and child records you created. If you own a family or carpool group with other active guardians, ownership is transferred to the oldest remaining active guardian so their coordination can continue. You can also request deletion by emailing freire.hector@gmail.com from the email address on the account. We verify ownership and explain any limited retention required by law or security needs.
